The current methods for responding to such emergencies are often hindered by delays, making timely rescue operations a daunting task. Traditional approaches lack the precision and speed required to address overboard events effectively, jeopardizing the safety of sailors and hindering the efficiency of rescue missions.

At Japan Business Solutions (JBS), we recognize the urgency of enhancing overboard search and rescue operations. Our innovative solution, the Smart Wristband (SeaResQ™) for Overboard Sailors' Search and Rescue, aims to revolutionize maritime safety. By seamlessly integrating advanced multi-modal sensor data and cutting-edge artificial intelligence, our smart wristband provides a proactive approach to overboard event detection.

Our solution goes beyond mere detection – it incorporates a narrowband low-power wireless communication module to relay instantaneous alerts to the ship's bridge. Simultaneously, vital information such as GPS location, real-time health metrics, and environmental data are transmitted. The device's high-power LED beacon ensures visibility in low-light conditions, facilitating rapid visual identification of the fallen sailor.

This holistic approach addresses the shortcomings of existing methods, ensuring a faster and more accurate response to overboard incidents.
